Eli and Ami Jankowsky had overslept and were up late that morning which forced them to rush over to Garden House to get ready for the day.They planned on spending the morning working on harvesting produce and to head over to the city hall where the library was to so some studying.They were into their fourth day of living in Deery Meadows and began to get used to it and to owning the land they were living on.
They spent a few hours working in the garden area and it was going very slowly because of their low gardening skill.They decided to make that a priority in their studies as they spent some time in town.They were both worried about it getting too late to get into town to visit the library and get anything done while they were there.They decided to just stop and start getting ready to head into town at about noon to make sure they got there safely.
It took them a while to get into town because they live so far from the town center and they decided to take advantage of whatever time they had to study before having to eat dinner and start heading back.They got their iPads out and began to study gardening skill online and spent a few hours at it.
They studied until 7PM and stopped after that to fix themselves plates of salad for dinner before having to leave to get back out to their area of town.They also stopped to use the washrooms before heading back out to their lot.
It ended up being a long hike back out and they didn't get home until 8:30 in the evening and had to clean up their lot before getting to bed.They'd been very lucky with it staying dry so far and there hadn't been any rain yet that summer.
They both knew that it didn't usually rain much in the summer and that some summers were just very dry.They wanted to save up enough money to buy themselves a tent to use instead of just using sleeping bags.It was 9:30 in the evening when they finally got to sleep for the night.
