               CHAPTER-1-SG-Y-1-S-1-D-6

Eli and Ami Jankowsky rushed over to Garden House to get ready for the day before it got too late in the day after they'd managed to get up late.It was starting to get light out as they woke up and it was only a little later than they'd wanted to get up since it was about 5AM.Eli was working at Garden House while Ami planned to get to the market and work there.

They both started working very hard though Eli stayed at Garden House and worked in the gardens there while Ami went to the country market and got to work there. They kept working through most of the day even when it started getting very hot out until they finally had to take a break in the afternoon.

Ami had gotten started later with having to travel to the market before getting to work.He managed to get quite a bot of work done in the hours they were working. They were trying to earn enough money to be able to start getting a basic shelter built on theit lot before fall rains and winter storms hit the town and forced them to take refuge in Garden House every night that winter.

They both stopped working late in the afternoon and Ami used the washroom before heading back to Garden House to rejoin Eli and eat dinner there. They ended up studying for a while and played a little chess before they had to use the washrooms again and eat some dinner before heading home.

They got to their lot at about 7PM and had to get some cleaning up done first before they could get to sleep for the night. They were very tired out after their long day of hard work.

They managed to be ready to get into their sleeping bags by 7:30 and went to sleep soon after. They were both planning to get a basic shelter built to see them through the fall and winter before resuming the building in the spring. They were grateful for the dry spell and hoped the weather would hold until the end of the summer when they got something built.
They could still remember having to pay rent on lodgings or having to labor on somebody else's farm and would never have a chance to own their own home unless they left Russia. They found it no better in other parts of Europe and had to get onto a colony ship heading to North America to settle a new colony called Deery Meadows in the location of Maine and they left in the spring of 1620.They remembered the sailing being very rough with lots of stprmy weather and that they were almost shipwrecked twice.
